Jason and Edyta in a Clinch ŠABC

Jason and Edyta in a Clinch ŠABC

And so we reach the end of another season of Dancing With the Stars with the final performances tonight and the winner announced tomorrow night. In honor of the event, we just had to share this music video link at the top of the page. Although Elton John is the star, watch carefully and you will find a very young and practically nekkid Bruno dancing in the background, the foreground, and all over the grounds to "I'm Still Standing."

By the way, if you are reading this because you missed tonight's episode, it will be repeated tomorrow night in typical ABC ratings grabbing efforts. The three remaining finalists will do another cha-cha this evening and let out all the stops with a freestyle.

Cristián de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke

In preparation for the cha-cha face-off, everyone shares their routines. Cristián accuses Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark of cheating since they only show about 30 seconds. We call it any edge you can get. Performing to "Dancing on the Ceiling," the couple is strong and manages to keep it one-handed. Jason Taylor is a bit clumsy, but classy for a big guy. We love that jump over Edyta's head.

Kristi is pretty wiley as she enters with a kiss for Bruno (be still, his heart) and puts the other two contenders to shame, don't you think? Len thinks Cristián has all his gear in the rear, Bruno calls Jason an imposing threat, and Carrie Ann admits that she agrees with me that Kristi won the dance hands down.

Cristián and Cheryl

Score: 8 - 9 - 9 = 26

Jason and Edyta

Score: 8 - 8 - 8 = 24

Kristi and Mark

Score: 10 - 10 - 10 = 30

Kristi  and Mark

Julianne, a former partner of Mark, comes to give Kristi some pointers, since she is a two time winner. Kristi says that she is glad her dad is a dentist with all the moves they will attempt. Their routine to "Working Day and Night" starts off a tad slow, but once they are into it, the couple is more impressive. Bruno calls her Miss Synchronicity, Carrie Ann thinks she is the crowd pleaser of the night, and Len says his attention was held throughout the routine.

Score: 30 + 30 = 60

Jason and Edyta

Edyta decides to use Jason's height and physical strength to their advantage, and his kids and wife Katina come by to cheer him on. We could do without the beach ball at the beginning of "Miami," but generally Jason does a fine job of tossing Edyta around. He has that hip thing down as well as a shirtless performance for eye candy. Tom has to calm Bruno down, he is so excited. Len admired his lifts, Carrie Ann calls him funky, and Bruno adored his performance and his dancing.

Score: 24 + 27 = 51

Cristián and Cheryl

Before the final freestyle, the couple works on other parts of Cristián's body to minimize his injury. They get a visit from Cheryl's trophy so he can, as he says, "keep his eye on the prize," tacky as it is. Dancing to "Suavemente," we are amazed that some of his routine can be done at all, much less one-handed. If prizes are awarded for courage and performing in pain, he has surely won tonight. Len liked the flavor, Bruno says he did "bloody well," and Carrie Ann admires that he never gives up.

Score: 26 + 26 = 52

Usher will be on tomorrow night for the crowning of the queen or king of the dance floor, as well as a group dance with former celebs, who are already in the audience tonight. Until then Dance fans, we fade to glitter...
