If the '80s were the ultimate party, welcome to the hangover. "The Lather Effect" is an ensemble comedy about a group of high-school friends in their mid-30s who reunite for an out-of-control 'Come As You Were' weekend. But the morning after may expose that some flames still burn, certain secrets must be revealed, and the greatest song of all time is always up for debate.

Starring Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights), Tate Donovan, Ione Skye ("Say Anything"), Eric Stoltz, Peter Facinelli ("Twilight"), David Herman ("Idiocracy"), and William Mapother ("World Trade Center"), the film has been dubbed "The Big Chill" for 80's kids. Extras include feature-length audio commentary with writer/director Sarah Kelly, editor Darren Ayres and associate producer/actor Eric Stoltz, "The Making of 'The Lather Effect'" (16:07), Deleted Scenes (20:23), "The Cameron Effect" Featurette (7:04), and "The Importance of Being an Ernest PA" Featurette (4:43).

Commemorative folder is covered with
names of influential '80s musicians like
the Ramones, Alphaville, Twisted Sister,
Yes, Elvis Costello, Billy Idol, Simply Red,
T'Pau, Night Ranger, and Howard Jones.

But that's not all.

Along with the sealed DVD you also get press release material including full production notes in a gnarly collectible folder with "doodles" of bands that will help you reminisce about "the decade of excess." In addition, there are three separate quizzes aimed at determining your '80s worthiness: "Name each classic '80s movie based on a memorable quote," "Which '80s MALE movie character are you?" and "Which '80s FEMALE movie character are you?"

· Contest is open to persons of any age currently residing in the United States. We will only mail the prize to a winner residing in the U.S.

· A good faith effort will be made to deliver the prize to the winner at the address provided in a timely fashion. The Trades is not responsible for any lost or misdirected packages.

· Sponsor's employees and their dependants are ineligible.

· Only one (1) entry per address will be permitted. Multiple entries will result in all entries being invalidated.

· Limit one (1) prize per person.

· Incomplete entries will be discarded. Remember to include your full name and mailing address.

· December 21, 2008 is the final day of the contest.

· The winner will be chosen randomly from all valid entries received. The winner's name will be posted here.
