Low-tech and old-school as all get out, Stillhouse Hollow hearkens back to musical times past on their debut album, Dakota.

Nathan Griffin, Joel Meeks, Jess Perkins and Scott Calpin formed in Franklin, Tennessee and gathered material for their record through experiences on the road.

"The time Stillhouse Hollow spent traveling over this beautiful and expansive part of the world in an old, beat-up school bus allowed them to reflect on and gain a greater understanding of simpler times," explains their press release. "The stories they heard about the lives of the kind-hearted folks that also drove for hours to hear them play is prominently reflected in the songs on their debut album Dakota."
