Secrets Revealed in Franklin & Bash Season Closer
Television Review: Franklin & Bash, "650 to SLC"
by R.J. Carter
Published: August 11, 2012

It turns out that eccentric senior partner Stanton Infeld (Malcolm McDowell) wasn't completely off his nut when he decided to expand his staff at Infeld-Daniels to include the contempt-magnet duo of Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer), and it involves Jared's father, Leonard Franklin (guest star Beau Bridges), senior partner at the esteemed Franklin & Franklin. However, don't expect the Peter Pan pair to be okay with Stanton's secretive methods.

Leonard Franklin makes a play to take over the Infeld-Daniels law firm, and with only two votes needed from the California branch it seems his conquest is assured. And when the hammer falls, Stanton puts his secret weapon into play. But when its all over, will Franklin & Bash still be a part of the team -- or will they decide to take their ball and go home?

This season finale marks a major turning point in the series, particularly in the relationship between Franklin and Bash with their other partners, Damien Karp (Reed Diamond) and Hanna Linden (Garcelle Beauvais). Additionally, it fundamentally alters the fledgling relationship with Jared and Emily (Shiri Appleby). What it definitely does, however, is show the lengths that Franklin and Bash will go to, and the trouble they are willing to get themselves into, in order to protect and defend those who need their help -- even when the helpless isn't the little guy on the street.

Franklin & Bash, "650 to SLC" premieres Tuesday, August 14, at 10pm|9pm CT on TNT.
