Season finale! Whoo! We start in Shanghai baby. Dating Actors Hayden and Aaron lead things off at 11:20 p.m. Teams must take a train to Xi'An, China and then hail a cab to the Drum Tower.

Engaged Models Freddy and Kendra depart 10 minutes later. Long-Distance Daters Kris and Jon leave 14 minutes after that.

The train doesn't leave until the morning so Freddy and Kendra have time to give each other a little attitude.

A half hour later the broke Ex-Daters Adam and Rebecca depart. But they're now stronger since the Yield, or so they say. They get plenty of money from begging so maybe they are stronger.

All the teams are on the same train and will be for the next 17 hours. In Xi'An the teams take taxis to the Drum Tower. It's not open. Surprise, surprise.

DETOUR

In the morning teams find the clue inside the tower and it's the Detour. Teams either choose Spray or Scroll. In Spray, teams spray paint the shell of a car at a factory. In Scroll, teams search for two Chinese characters in a scroll of fabric, then cut them out in exchange for the clue.

All teams choose Spray.

Freddy and Kendra usurp a cab from Kris and Jon. And then Adam and Rebecca do the same. But Freddy and Kendra get theirs -- they're stuck in traffic.

Meanwhile, Hayden thinks her cabbie is lost. Aaron is just waiting to see what happens.

The Ex-Daters are first to arrive at the car factory, the Dating Actors arrive shortly after (I guess their cabbie was right). The other teams show up together, but not for a little while. Adam and Rebecca and Hayden and Aaron will have a bit of a headstart. And it's enough. The Ex-Daters are done first (for a change) and now head to the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum for the next clue.

Hayden and Aaron finish up next and they may get a chance to catch up -- the Ex-Daters are stuck in a government motorcade. By the time they're on the move again, so are all the other teams, including Jon and Kris who pass them!

TRICKY, TRICKY

At the museum, Adam and Rebecca figure out you need tickets to get inside, Jon is a little slow at figuring that out. The Ex-Daters are first to find the clue and to throw off Jon and Kris, they run to the other side of the museum. When the Long-Distance Daters go inside, they look for the other team instead of the clue box. They spot Adam and Rebecca and head their way. They've taken the bait!

And speaking of bait, Freddy and Kendra and Hayden and Aaron (ah, the ol' Model Alliance) are both been taken to the wrong place by their taxi. Jon and Kris find the clue around the same time Freddy and Kendra show up.

The Engaged Models find the clue, but head back to their same taxi. They hate their driver, yet keep returning to him. If they dislike him that much, they should just find someone new. Hayden and Aaron face this same dilemma, and they too decide to stick it out.

TRANSPROT TROUBLES

Teams are now heading to the North Peak of Mount Hua. Adam and Rebecca are first to arrive, but they are forced to wait on the bus. They're there long enough for Jon and Kris to board as well, but not long enough for Freddy and Kendra. They'll have to take bus 2.

Hayden and Aaron are lost again, but this time they ditch their cab…in the middle of nowhere. They stiff the driver and each other. The love is fading from the Dating Actors.

Well, maybe not. After a magical commercial break, they find a cab and Aaron gives Hayden a little comfort. There's more important things in life than money, he says. (What they are escape me at the moment, Aaron).

The teams ride a gondola to the North Peak. Once across, both the Long-Distance Daters and the Ex-Daters run up the wrong peak. So, the Engaged Models are first to get the clue.

ROADBLOCK

It's the Roadblock. One member of each team must take a unique key and unlock one out of 3,000 locks fastened there by couples to prove their love for each other. The task must be completed by 7:00 p.m. because the mountain closes.

Three of the teams are performing the Roadblock when Hayden and Aaron arrive at the mountain. They can't find where to buy bus tickets and Hayden is getting upset! They get on a bus, but it's the wrong one. (And I don't think they bought an entrance ticket). First Hayden wants to quit and now that she's coming around, Aaron is thinking about quitting.

Oh my god! Kris has found a match for her key! Kendra and Rebecca, however, have to start again since they didn't find a match on the first go-around. Kendra finds a match on this turn. Rebecca's hand has turned gray. Gross.

Hayden and Aaron have now arrived and Hayden is going to do the task like all the other girls. Her key, however, gets stuck in a lock and breaks. Yeah, maybe you should have let cool and calm Aaron do this task. They have to go to the North Peak Hotel reception desk for a replacement key.

It's a footrace between Jon and Kris and Freddy and Kendra to the Xi'An city wall, or you can call it the Pit Stop. Jon and Kris win. Easily.

It's past 6:30 and the park closes in less than a half hour. Hayden's hand is bleeding. Rebecca's is numb. Hayden decides to quit at the same moment Rebecca's key fits into a lock. The Dating Actors will have a four-hour penalty for not completing the Roadblock. That's it?! (Shouldn't the sisters have walked away from all those hay bales way back when if it was such a lenient penalty?)

So, since Hayden and Aaron have the penalty, they'll be the last team to arrive even though the Ex-Daters technically checked in last. So much for the model alliance…but wait, what's this? Aaron proposes to Hayden at the Pit Stop. Aww, how beautiful. I guess the Dating Actors are now the Engaged Actors. Let's get back to the cold-blooded competition.

WELCOME TO AMERICA

At 5:27 a.m. Jon and Kris head out. Teams are returning to America -- first stop is Honolulu, Hawaii. Teams must drive to some state park (Pulu Ulaaka, is how I think it's spelled).

You can't book a flight at the airport in Xi'An due to some local laws. Teams only can get tickets from a travel agent or business office at the hotel.

Freddy and Kendra depart roughly an hour later than Kris and Jon. That's a lot longer than I thought it would be -- so much for that close footrace CBS!

The Long-Distance Daters head to a travel agent, but the language barrier gets in the way. They head back to the hotel. The Engaged Models stick with the phone and when that doesn't work, they head upstairs to the business office which is now open. They book a flight and then race to the airport. Jon and Kris can't make that exact flight, but theirs comes in only about 15 minutes later than the first flight.

Adam and Rebecca finally leave the Pit Stop. Their flight will be a little over an hour behind the others. If karma has anything to do with the race, then Adam and Rebecca will be doomed because they just said the cabbie has three testicles.

At the connecting airport, Freddy and Kendra try desperately to switch their tickets to an earlier flight. They beg, lie, plead. But it's company policy not to let people switch flights. Jon and Kris try similar tactics, but they too are shot down. Adam and Rebecca really have no hope at this point except to change tickets. But for them, it's a no go as well.

DETOUR
The first clue in America is a Detour. This time teams either choose Outfits or Outrigger. In Outfits, teams head to a clothing distributor, choose a mannequin with a clothing pattern and then match it to an outfit out of 165,000 options. Once they identify the match, they must put the clothes on (spiffy). In Outrigger, teams paddle an outrigger canoe for two miles.

Jon and Kris choose Outfits and the others choose Outriggers. No table necessary.

At the clothing distributor, Jon and Kris pick a distinct pattern. It doesn't take them too long to find the shirt. The dresses prove to be slightly more difficult, but they're still finished with the Detour first.

Freddy and Kendra, meanwhile, argue most of the time in the canoe.

After the Detour, teams head to Kamaka Air. The clue there is a Roadblock.

ROADBLOCK

For the last Roadblock, one member of each team must skydive from 11,000 feet into the ocean. (Surprisingly, no team broke the no more than six Roadblock rule).

The Long-Distance Daters and Engaged Models arrive at the Roadblock roughly at the same time. Close enough at least that Jon and Freddy jump out of the same plane. Adam does his a bit later. What a minute! Back it up! Adam is going to the Roadblock?! But he's afraid of heights and water!

After the Roadblock, teams fly back to Chicago, the city where we started. Once there, they'll take a train to the old watertower.

At the airport, the Long-Distance Daters book tickets on what they believe to be the earliest flight to Chicago. But apparently the ticket guy lied. The Engaged Models' flight gets in a half hour earlier. Lucky for Jon and Kris the early flight lands 10 minutes late.

Adam and Rebecca continue to bring up the rear. I don't think we'll see them again.

Jon and Kris and Freddy and Kendra take the same train to Chicago and it becomes a footrace to the clue.

THAT'S A SPICY PIZZA PIE!

Teams must now take a taxi to Gino's East Pizzeria. Each must eat half a deep-dish pizza. The Engaged Models arrive first and Kendra says she's so hungry for pizza she could eat the whole thing herself. Yet, when she gets down to the last couple of bites, she starts gagging. Wuss, it's only two pieces. Still, they finish before Jon and Kris arrive.

After the 'za, teams head to Ping Tom Memorial Park to find the finish line! This is it! Freddy and Kendra have a slight lead, but have no idea where to go. Freddy tries to get a cop to lead them to the park, but since it's not an "emergency," the cop can't/won't do it. Freddy's cabbie isn't too sure where to go and neither is the dispatcher.

Hey, here's Adam and Rebecca. I guess they're not out of it yet (though they probably are). They're heading to the Pizzeria. Jon and Kris are already done there, however, and successfully flag down a cab who knows where to go.

Back to Adam and Rebecca: he doesn't eat tomatoes and she doesn't eat cheese. This pizza challenge is proving to be trickier than I thought. Anyway, there's no chance in hell for them to pull out a victory, so we'll leave them for good. It's all down to the Engaged Models and the Long-Distance Daters.

Both teams are bribing their cabbies to run red lights. It'll be a footrace at the park. Freddy and Kendra are out of the cab first. Oh no! Jon and Kris get stuck by a train and there's no running around it. They'll have to wait it out. Bummer. It's now clear that Freddy and Kendra will pull this one out. And there's the flags, the other teams and Phil. Yup, it's official, Engaged Models Freddy and Kendra are the winners of The Amazing Race 6. Hugs all around.

Well, thanks for reading. We'll see you again in three weeks for the next Amazing Race when one of the teams is Rob and Ambuh from Survivor! I know who I'm rooting for!!
