In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

There's something about being an innocent-yet-hunted fugitive that turns men's heart toward deeds of altruism. Look at David Banner. Look at Dr. Richard Kimble.

"Hannibal" Smith and company are no different. Pursued across the country by the indefatigable Colonel Decker. Along the way, they serve as domestic mercenaries, heroes for hire. If you've got the money (or in many cases, even if you don't) you can put the word out to the A-Team and you'll have yourself a four-man army, able to take such military advantages of at-hand resources as would make MacGyver proud. In fact, they were pulling off the impossible with the improbable a few years before Mac made the scene.

Featuring guest appearances by Lance Henriksen, Markie Post, David Graf, Michael Ironside, Ernie Hudson and Dennis Franz, these action packed episodes hearken back to the height of Stephen J. Cannell's production output.

This set features three double-sided disks, each in its own slimline snaptite case. Each case lists the featured episodes on the back, and all three fit snugly into a cardboard slipcase.

Previews on this DVD set include upcoming boxed sets for the second season sets of "Knight Rider," "Magnum P.I." and "The A-Team" itself, as well as the first season of "Miami Vice." Also included are previews for the DVD release of "Meet the Fockers" and videogames "SWAT 4" and "Flatout."

Bonus features on this boxed set include an episode from both "Knight Rider" and "The A-Team" to cross-promote the other DVD boxed sets released simultaneously. The viewer has the ability to subtitle in English, Spanish or French. The thematic interface features a long loop of the theme song. The viewer can elect to "Play All" episodes on a disk, or enter the "Episode Select" mode which provides a synopsis and original air date of each episode.
