A Summary
On night 18, Kucha begins preparing for the merger and aligning their voting strategy. Ogakor knows that Jeff has a vote cast against him and, with an expected tie vote, the person with the most votes cast against them in previous tribal councils is the person voted off. Kucha wants to vote off Colby and Jerri.

Ogakor still waits on news about the accident at Kucha. They do not know who was injured and what exactly happened. As Ogakor checks their mail, no news about Kucha but it is guy’s night out. Colby and Keith will head over to the Kucha camp to explore their living space. At Kucha, it is girl’s night out. Elisabeth and Alicia will explore the Ogakor camp. Kucha believes that Ogakor’s ladies are coming and Ogakor believes that Kucha’s men are coming. Surprises wait. Kucha pulls out all their best and prepares the final chicken to entertain the Ogakor ladies. When the Ogakor scouts arrive, Kucha is unpleasantly surprised. Ogakor welcomes Elisabeth and Alicia and immediately find out about the accident. Jerri is very cautious not to mention anything negative about Keith. If Kucha finds out that Kucha and Jerri have votes cast against them, they will be Kucha’s target. At the Kucha camp, all enjoy chicken with spices and Mountain Dew. At the Ogakor camp, all suffer through lack of food and supplies.

The camps have 15 minutes to pack up everything they can carry. Everyone thought that they would be merging and moving to one camp. Instead, they will have to pack up everything and move to a completely new beach and build a new camp. Once they arrive, they are greeted with crackers and cheese, fruit, and wine. They must also decide on a new name; they pick Barramundi. (

Day 21 brings the challenge of building a new camp. There is relatively little arguing over the location. Everyone works together and the new camp goes up easily. For immunity, the survivors will now be competing for personal immunity instead of tribal immunity. The challenge is to stand on a podium anchored in the water without sitting or falling off. After several give up early, including Colby, Colby begins trying to entice Kucha to vote for him, which defers attention from Jerri and Keith. After 10 hours, Alicia, Tina and Keith remain. Alicia is coaxed off with hot chocolate and a boat ride to short. Keith, who has votes cast against him in previous tribal councils, tells Tina that he needs this immunity. Tina steps off into the boat and Keith wins immunity.

At tribal council, the tribal lines are drawn. The first vote brings a 5-5 tie between Colby and Jeff. On a revote, there is no surprise: the vote is even. Per Survivor rules, the person with the most votes in previous tribal councils is the person voted off. Colby had received zero; Jeff had received one. Colby had accomplished his task: he had deferred attention from Jerri and Keith. The one vote Jeff had received was by Debb, who was voted off in the first episode. Kucha, who vowed to eat Ogakor alive as Mike had wished is now down four members to Ogakor’s five.

A Preview of Episode Eight
The members of barramundi adventure into new alliances. Some may try new alliances while others will stick with what has worked. Colby is ready to betray Jerri but Jerri knows that everyone is an enemy of everyone else. Although voting alliances will be made, the person who wins immunity could screw up those alliances.

The S-Rating for Episode Eight

Barramundi: Nick
Comments:
Although Colby will be lying to Jerri on the next episode, I think that Ogakor will look out for themselves and vote for another Kucha member. Nick seems to be the person who is not drawing much attention and I think Mark Burnett has done this so that we will be surprised. I also think that he is the strongest of the group and Ogakor wants the strongest out.

Barramundi: Alicia
Comments:
Alicia now has the Kucha leadership reigns after Jeff, her closest ally and the tribe member who took over the leadership role from Michael after his injury, was booted this past week. The crafty Ogakors will pick Alicia off next for her leadership potential and her strength in the Immunity Challenges. Elisabeth is the only Kucha who looks to be safe this week.

Barramundi: Alicia
Comments:
I am leaning primarily towards Alicia, my former front runner. She is the most conflict prone on Kucha, and all it would take would be a dispute over food or fire wood (with say... Keith) for her to get targeted. I see Jerri safe until maybe the final 7, then she may disappear as vengeance rears its ugly head.

Barramundi: Colby
Comments:
Surprising, but Ogakor now has the 5-to-4 advantage! If they can stick together (which I highly doubt), they can pick off the remaining Kucha members. Won't happen. I think Tina or Jerri will flip and vote off Colby, as he really does pose the only serious threat to physically win the game.

Barramundi: Alicia
Comments:
Alicia is the next to go. I'm fairly certain everyone noticed that Alicia could have stood on that pole forever in the last challenge. I think it was because she figured she was safe that she got down. Well, she's not safe this week. I think Nick wins the challenge and Alicia gets the boot. She is the leader of Kucha now and will be seen as the most competition.

Comments:
Well, I wasn't wholely surprised about this week's turn-out. Things went along tribe lines. It just so happened that Ogakor knew that Jeff had a vote against him, and Kucha voted against Colby 'cause he posed the biggest threat - since they didn't know Jerri had votes against her. Kucha failed to turn Keith (he's not all that stupid - he knew that if he turned, he'd eventually get voted out). But Keith is still a factor in all this. He doesn't like Jerri. Jerri doesn't like Keith. Colby doesn't like Jerri either. Soon, Colby and Keith will use the Kucha survivors to boot Jerri before she does it to them, but not yet. First Kucha has to be pared down some more. And the next to go will be Nick 'cause he appears to be the strongest - although he probably isn't.

Comments:
I think Alicia will be voted off next unless she wins immunity (then it would be Nick). It is in Ogakor's best advantage to keep voting as a block at this point in time. This will be enough to ensure that they still have the majority over Kucha (5-3), in case some members choose to split off from the group, the following week. Alicia is the obvious target, because she is the strongest physically and most likely to win immunity.

Comments:
With the Ogakor half of new tribe having the advantage over the Kucha half 5-4, I think another ex-Kucha member will be voted off by the five ex-Ogakor members. Nick seems to be the physically strongest of the ex-Kucha members so he poses the biggest threat to win the immunity challenges. This will allow him to stand out over the other ex-Kucha members and make him the next one to go.
