The Good Stuff
I have decided I am going to skip directly to the good part: Jerri is gone! That’s right. She was the latest to be ousted. Now, to the complete story...

Summary
The tribe awakens on day 25 to rain and cold. The water supply is muddy, which hinders the fishing operation. The meal of the day will be rice…for all but two. The next reward challenge will be played in pairs. Jerri wants to pick partners with her choice being her strong crush, Colby. Tina says picking partners is unfair. Jerri says that the whole game is unfair. Colby puts names in a hate and Barramundi draws names. Jerri did not get her way. The teams are as follows:

  • Colby/Jerri
  • Rodger/Tina
  • Elisabeth/Nick
  • Amber/Keith

The reward is a helicopter ride to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling and a picnic lunch. The teams will compete in heats until only one team remains. In the first heat, Amber/Keith defeats Rodger/Tina. In the second heat, Colby/Jerri defeats Elisabeth/Nick. In the final heat, Colby/Jerri defeats Amber/Keith.

Colby and Jerri dine on sandwiches, chips, fruit and champagne. They snorkel in the ocean. Jerri flirts with Colby. Colby is not interested. Jerri remarks, “This is one hell of a first date.” Colby says he just wants time away from the game. Colby and Jerri return to play down their experience. Colby brings back gifts for the rest of the tribe. Jerri knows this action has put Colby “one-up” on her.

The tribe formerly known as Ogakor is planning on voting out Nick because he is the strongest remaining member of the tribe formerly known as Kucha. Nick, however, is burned out and weak. Kucha knows they are being picked off one-by-one and begin preparing themselves for the worst. Their only hope of survival is immunity.

For the immunity challenge, there will be a series of head-to-head match-ups featuring single elimination. The most important part of the challenge: balance. The intent is to knock your opponent off their perch using a rope. The duels were random selected as follows (the winners are in red):

    First Round
  • Keith vs. Rodger
  • Jerri vs. Nick
  • Colby vs. Tina
  • Amber vs. Elisabeth
    Second Round
  • Colby vs. Rodger
  • Amber vs. Nick
    Final Round
  • Colby vs. Nick

The former Ogakor must re-think their strategy as Rodger and Elisabeth begin speculating about their own respective fates. Elisabeth tries to sway Tina to vote for Jerri. Keith suggests this as it will not affective Ogakor’s advantage. Without Jerri, the voting would still be Ogakor 4, Kucha 3. At tribal council, the voting seems solid yet completely unpredictable. Amber and Jerri stick to their alliance but the rest bail out. Jerri is gone by a landslide. The final vote is Jerri 6, Elisabeth 2. One final word: BOOYAH!

The tribe awakens and reality sets in hard: Jerri is gone. CBS flies in special balloons, champagne, party dip, DVDs, CDs, Richard Simmons and all celebrate. I'm exaggerating a little bit. There were no balloons. On a serious note, Jeff (the host) will offer the tribe food, but there will be a price to pay for it.

    Barramundi: Nick
    Comments:
Although many think that the Ogakor alliance will break up, I believe it will hold strong and Nick will be voted off. Perhaps, when Ogakor must vote off Rodger or Elisabeth, they will end their alliance, but for now, it will remain in place and the strongest Kucha member will be leaving.

    Barramundi: Amber
    Comments:
I am weary of this "major deal" previewed in last week's episode and the CBS site touts as being able to "hugely affect their lives in the Outback." After Nick wins immunity yet again, I think tribal alliances are going to lessen with this episode, with a 6-1 vote against the useless Amber.

    Dead By Dawn
    Barramundi: Elisabeth
    Comments:
As predicted, Nick wins another immunity necklace. Tribal lines still exist, although Amber flirts with going to the other side. Ultimately the vote ends up 3 for Colby, 4 for Elisabeth.

    Barramundi: Nick
    Comments:
I actualy think Colby threw the rope-pull so that Nick would get immunity, and he could get people to vote off Jerri. Really. Next week, Colby, who has now had a good meal to get him back into minimal shape, should walk all over the other competitors. Ogakor still have the 4-to-3 advantage, no need to stop that roll, and can pick off the remaining Kucha members (although I don't think Amber will make it to the final 4).

    Barramundi: Colby
    Comments:
We saw this week that Keith is in charge. The plan called for Elizabeth to be gone. Keith decided he wanted Jerri gone. *POOF* Jerri's gone. Where Keith goes, Tina goes. Where Tina goes, Elizabeth goes. Where Elizabeth goes, Rodger goes. These 4 will stick together til the Final 4. Setting up that alliance, they will look to remove the biggest threat. That's right, gang. The Colbster. If he doesn't get immunity, he's gone. If he does, say good bye to Amber.

    Mop
    Barramundi: Colby
    Comments:
Although this throws a wrench in my final four prediction, this latest twist changes everything. Tina and Keith are looking out for themselves right now, and that means Colby is a threat to them. Colby is strong and smart. But he can lose his allies at any time. Keith and Tina were swayed heavily by Elisabeth's pleas. Colby didn't want to turn on Jerri right away, but Keith and Tina convinced him, so the alliance between Keith, Tina and Elisabeth is clear. And where Elisabeth goes, so does Rodger. That's a four person voting block. The strongest are now in trouble, and that means Nick and Colby. Whoever of the two doesn't get immunity next week gets the boot. If neither gets immunity, then it's surely Colby because he's been taking more of a leadership role and is the more obvious of the two threats right now.

    Vince
    Barramundi: Nick
    Comments:
The tribal alliances were broken with Jerri being booted out. Now the four-way alliance of Keith/Tina/Rodger/Elizabeth will rule all. I believe that Nick will be the next to go because the person they would have otherwise voted for, Colby, will win immunity. With Colby's win, Amber and Nick are the only ones remaining. Amber is absolutely no threat so she may be disposed of by the Keith/Tina/Rodger/Elizabeth alliance later. Nick is the only one remaining so he'll be the one to leave.
