User Information/Log Files: As you visit our site, The Trades does not collect any personal identifying information about you without your consent. Your name, address, phone number, and email address all remain your private properties. Our server does, however, like may other Web sites, make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track userís movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
Message Board Registration: There are instances where a user may provide specific personal information in a message to us or when registering for the message board. Information you enter on the registration form for the message board will be viewable to the public. You may, however, choose the option to not have your e-mail address be viewable to the public. This option is available at the time of registration or at any time by visiting the profile link at the message boards. We will not offer lists of e-mail addresses of our registered members to a third party. However, if you choose to have your e-mail public, there is a possibility of other Internet users contacting you.
Contact Forms: Should you use a contact form at The Trades to communicate with an author, your message as well as the name and e-mail address you have provided will be retained in our database. The message itself becomes the property of The Trades and may be used in any way. The user waives all rights to such messages.
Contests: When entering a contest at The Trades you will be asked to provide certain information. This information will be used only in the event that you are the winner, and only for mailing purposes. All information entered is deleted from the database 6 (six) months after the end of the contest.
